Dr. Mohty was born in Beirut and earned her MD from the Lebanese University Medical School where she also completed residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Razan completed Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at the American University of Beirut Medical Center and fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplantation at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida. She is currently at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Mohty research interest is blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy with a focus on focusing on preventing and treating related complications.
