Dr. Al-Malki earned his MD from Damascus University. He completed his residency at Huron’s Hospital in Cleveland and his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Roger Williams Medical Center. Dr. Al-Malki also completed a fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplantation at City of Hope, Duarte, California. He is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine at City of Hope and Member of its faculty. His research focuses on alternative donors in blood and marrow transplantation
