Dr. Qayed earned her MD from the University of Amman. She completed residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Medical Oncology and Blood and Marrow Transplantation at Emory University. Dr. Qayed is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University and Director, Blood and Marrow Transplant at Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. Her research interests include developing effective prophylaxis and treatments of graft-versus-host disease.
